Poll: Where’s Your Buddy List?

I believe most people keep their buddy list on the right side of their screen. The reason being that most people used AOL as their first instant messaging service. In AOL, the buddy list was positioned on the right side of the screen by default. As people switched to AIM and other instant messaging services, this habit continued and the buddy list found itself staying on the right side.

The problem here is I that I really don’t have many people to base this on. So what side of the screen do you keep your buddy list on? I’ve created a poll just for this silly little question and appreciate you taking the time to answer it.

Of course, to really prove this, I would need to also know which people used AOL as their first instant messaging service. Let’s keep it simple though and first see which side most people keep it on. If there’s no significant difference then there isn’t much point in going any further with it. Thanks for participating, everyone!

Oh and just for the record, I moved mine to the left side now and it’s bothering me. I predict this isn’t going to last very long.
