Mind Readers

Sometimes I’ll think a nasty thought about someone in my head. Sometimes I mean it and sometimes I think I’m just bored.

Then I think to myself “what if this person can read minds? They’re going to be pissed that I just thought that about them.”

But I quickly turn it around and think “well if they can read minds, I shouldn’t feel bad. They’re lucky enough to have special powers, and I’m not, so why should I be apologetic?”

I then start thinking really nasty thoughts like “oh you think you’re so great cause you can read minds? I should curse you out all day in my head, and you couldn’t do anything about it because it would give away your secret!”

And then I think “but what if they can’t read minds?” as I’m taken back to my padded cell.
